Playing MP3 files

To open and play an MP3 file:
1 Open the File menu and choose Open.
2 Choose a file on your hard drive you'd like to play.

Your MP3 file will begin playing. Now you can:
Use the play/pause button to start/pause your music.
Click on the time digits to seek within a song.
Click the fast forward button to do so.
Click the rewind button to do so.

Of course, you're not going to want to play one file at a time! You'll want to create a playlist to manage all your MP3s.

Tip: You can always drag and drop an MP3 file onto the Audion icon or the Audion interface to start playing it.

Tip: You can jump to any point in the song with the position slider.

Note: Sometimes small audio skips may occur when launching applications or performing processor-intensive tasks. Skips can be greatly reduced/eliminated by turning off virtual memory.
